Which pumps does it work with?
HYDROSET does not depend on the pump brand. Any single-phase water pump whose current falls within the range of the chosen model will work with it — a domestic peripheral pump, a jet pump, or a multistage pump in a building booster set. It takes the place of the mechanical pressure switch, so you do not need to change the pipework or the pump.

Product description
HYDROSET PM821-16 replaces the mechanical pressure switch and holds your building's water pressure at the value you choose. It suits single-phase pumps drawing up to 16 A — typically buildings of five to ten floors with six to twenty units.
The controller ramps the pump up and down instead of switching it abruptly. That reduces water hammer and extends the life of the pump, the pipework and the fittings. Unlike a mechanical switch, which only makes and breaks a contact, HYDROSET measures the pressure and adjusts the pump's behaviour accordingly.
If water stops reaching the pump, dry running is detected and the pump is shut down before it is damaged. The unit then retries at the interval you set and resumes on its own as soon as water returns.
Eight fault states are shown on the four-digit display: over current, load missing, dry running by current, dry running by pressure, cycling error, pressure sensor failure, temperature sensor failure and over temperature. The codes are printed on the enclosure in both English and Persian.
Fifteen adjustable parameters (F1 to F15) let you match the controller to your building height and pump. Factory settings suit most installations, and the pressure sensor of every unit is calibrated before it leaves the factory.
It works with and without a pressure vessel and suits residential buildings, complexes, shops and gardens. Two years of warranty and five years of after-sales service.
