A pump controller error code is a two-character code that flashes on the display and stops the pump. HYDROSET PM821 has eight codes, E1 to E8. Each code has one defined cause, and the steps to clear it are in the table below and on that code's own page.

Which faults clear by themselves?
E3 and E4 clear by themselves once the water returns; the unit retries every F6 minutes. E8 clears by itself once the unit has cooled.
