What does fault E2 mean?

The unit sees no pump current at all.

How is fault E2 cleared?

  1. Check the cable between the unit and the pump, and its terminals.
  2. Check the pump capacitor.
  3. Check the pump temperature; the thermal switch inside may have cut the current. Let it cool.
  4. Clear the fault, and contact your dealer if it returns.

To clear a fault, press the Cancel key on the main screen.

Which model is right for the pump?

Several HYDROSET PM821 faults appear when the unit's rating does not match the pump's nameplate current. The table below gives the right model for each pump current.
